We Mourn the Loss of One of Our Own – Pat Pina

We are greatly saddened on the passing of a beloved member of the Hilgenfeld Mortuary family, Pat Pina. Although not an employee, Pat was an integral member of our business family as the volunteer who ran our Grief Support Program for many years. Every other week, Pat would devote two hours of her day to meet with those who needed a compassionate and comfortable place to share their grief.

Pat, who was an ordained minister, had a special way of comforting. She listened, letting people share their thoughts, their feelings, their fears. Her deep spirituality and faith allowed her to provide guidance and tools to help individuals learn ways to manage their way through the grieving process. Her compassion and caring was real, she always came prepared and ready to meet the needs of those who attended her grief support sessions.

Now we grieve, for Pat and send our love and condolences to her family who loved her so dearly. We feel a deep void without her presence here at Hilgenfeld and throughout the Anaheim community. We will be forever grateful for time we had to share with this very special woman.
