Owen F McGowan

Owen F (Frank) McGowan, age 85 of Anaheim Hills, passed away peacefully on January 16th, 2025 at UCI Medical Center after a long battle with heart disease. Born March 13th, 1939 in Philadelphia, PA, he graduated from Bishop Newman High School. He married JoAnn Majkszak on September 13th 1961 and they then moved to New Jersey. He joined the US Army in 1962 and was Honorably discharged in 1966. They they moved to Orange Country California in 1966 and finally settled in Anaheim Hills 1976, where he remained until he passed. He and JoAnn were part of the founding families of San Antonio Catholic Church where he remained a member until passing. He is predeceased by JoAnn and leaves behind two sons, Jeffrey and Daniel, 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Memorial services to celebrate his life are scheduled for Thursday, January 30th at 10am at San Antonio Church in Anaheim Hills.
