Riverside, CaliforniaAn Angel has departed from this earth, as Margaret ‘Peggy’ Viola Preston Coke, a loving mother, grandmother, and friend, has peacefully passed on July 14, 2024, in Haslet, Texas, aged 98. Born on June 11, 1926, in Huntington Beach, California, Peggy lived a life filled with kindness, compassion, and unwavering love for her family. Peggy adored her extended family, cherished her cats, and found solace in tending to her beautiful flowers. This remarkable lady is survived by her son Donald Coke, daughter Carole "Susie" Krawczyk, and numerous cherished family members who held a special place in her heart. Preceding her in death were Peggy's husband, Harold Donald Coke, and eldest daughter, Cheryl Lynn Coke Huff, who departed in January 2024. While we mourn their absence, we take comfort in the knowledge that they rest together in peace. To celebrate Peggy's life and honor her memory, services will be conducted with love and remembrance. On July 20, 2024, a gathering will be held at 2:00 pm at Lucas Funeral Home in Keller, Texas, to commemorate Peggy's life. Following the service, family and friends are invited to join together at Spring Creek BBQ in Keller, Texas. Looking towards the future, a viewing will be held on July 24, 2024, at Hilgenfeld Mortuary in Anaheim, California, from 9:00 am to 10:30 am, with a memorial service following from 10:30 am to 11:30 am. On July 24, 2024, Peggy will be laid to rest at Riverside National Cemetery alongside her beloved Harold. The final ceremony will take place at 1:30 pm, enveloping her in eternal peace and reuniting her soul with her departed loved ones. In honoring Peggy's memory and her love for animals, donations to any charity providing care for cats and dogs are warmly welcomed in lieu of flowers. As we bid farewell to Peggy, let us carry her spirit in our hearts, remembering her contagious laughter, unyielding love, and unwavering strength. May her journey to the heavens be as beautiful as the life she led on this earth. Rest in peace, dear Peggy - your light will forever shine bright.
