James Watson

It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of James “Uncle Jimmy” Watson on December 15, 2023.

James Philip Watson was born on February 7, 1951 in New Jersey to Lillian and Harold Watson.  He was welcomed into the family in boisterous fashion by his brothers and sisters Harold, Alfred, Lillian, Thomas, Judy, Christine, Elizabeth and Billy.

As a child, James was full of energy and laughter.

James began his career at Pac-Bell (AT&T).

After spending years in the labor force, he set out to fulfill his higher educational goals.  He graduated from Cal State University of Long Beach with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business.

He will be remembered by all for his passionate and adventurous spirit.  He sailed the 7 seas and visited every continent.  He was an animal lover, world traveler, polar bear plunger, tiger whisperer, and Antarctica explorer.  He cared deeply for his dog(s) Sunshine and Paris and was a staunch lover of American life, Coca Cola, Oreos, card games, and loud Amens.

James will be remembered fondly by his sisters, nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.  Funeral services will be held on Friday, the 22nd of December, at 11:00 in the morning at St. Norbert Catholic Church, 300 E. Taft Ave., Orange, Ca 92857.
