    James “Jim” Warren Dever, Born July 14th 1947, passed away peacefully on April 23rd, 2023 after a short battle with cancer.

    Jim spent almost 40 years working for Douglas Aircraft Company, McDonnell Douglas, and then Boeing. One of the notable projects that he contributed to, and was proud of, was the development and production of the C-17 aircraft.

    Jim enjoyed time with his family and their pets, music, drum and bugle corps, and going to Angels baseball and Ducks hockey games.

    He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Elizabeth K. Dever. Sons Michael Dever, James M. Dever, daughter in law, Wendy Dever, and grandson Dane Dever.

    He was preceded in death by his parents John Dever II and Charlotte Dever, a sister Carol McCall, and brother John Dever III.
