It is with deepest sorrow that we announce the passing of our precious child, Christina Marie Pietro. Christina passed away April 3, 2023, At Kindred Brea Hospital after Cardiac Arrest which led to her brain injury and complications.
Christina was born December 3, 1981, in Tustin, California.
Christina was a special addition to our family, and she was immediately embraced and loved throughout the years by her parents, her older sibling Eric Anthony, her Grandparents, and whole family.
Christina was a very special soul who faced many challenges due to her mild depressions that most children experience now a days. Christina worked hard to address her weaknesses and grow her strengths. Christina was a student in San Diego and Orange Coast College.
Christina enjoyed outings and looked forward to summer concerts, music, movies, going to the library and meeting her good friends. While some things in life overwhelmed her, she still enjoyed outing activities that Parks provided such as watching or playing with domestic pets, sports, parades and shopping at the stores.
Christina was a very artistic child who loved to draw, sing and dance! She created impromptu lyrics and sang a song she called “The little Frog who sings with soap bubbles in his throat”. She sang like a little angel and often used her songs to self-soothe herself and entertain family and friends. Her favorite repertoire included a lot of songs from Beauty and the Beast and Disney movies. She also enjoyed dancing in the living room and performed on stage in school with her fellow classmates.
Reading was a passion, and she spent many hours reading her favorite books over and over. One of her favorites was the bible that her grandmother gave her to read. She loved to write and draw and much to her father’s dismay, she often used every sheet of paper in the house, as well as her siblings school notebooks, to write her stories of Disney characters and imitate dad’s Architectural drawings. Other activities Christina liked was riding a bike with training wheels at first and then her two-wheel bike and was very proud of her accomplishments. Her tenacity to stick with challenging activities was admirable.
We will deeply miss our precious little Angel who enriched and made our lives better with her presence. Christina is survived by her father, Ronald Rocco Pietro, sibling Eric Anthony Pietro, her Great Aunt Carol, Uncles, Aunts, Cousins, and the whole Pietro Family. Even though an irreplaceable part of our family is gone, she will never be gone from our hearts and Christina will be greatly MISSED!
She made and instant impact on everyone who met her ... and on thousands who never will.
