Donald Ray Mallonee
In loving memory of Donald Ray Mallonee, born Feb 16, 2940, in Fullerton, CA, son of Ray and Dorothee Mallonee. Don was called home, to his Heavenly father, May 28, 2024, with his wife Marilyn and daughter Amanda by his side.
Don graduated from Anaheim High School in 1957. He went to college at Fullerton JC and then on to San Luis Obispo where he studied business and printing. He also attended the Assemblies of God. He met his wife, Marilyn Mallonee, of 61 years on a blind date in 1962. For the love of his country, he enlisted in the US Airforce Sept 1962 and stationed in Lackland AF 8 in Texas.
After returning from Texas, they married on June 30, 1963. They bought their first home 6 months later. He started his business, California Lithograph Corporation, where he had a successful business for 25 years. Don was a devoted, adoring, loving and kindhearted father to Marlene and set of twins, Amanda and Mimi. Grandfather to Marissa and great-grandfather to Colton.
One of Don’s great passions was gardening. You could always find him in his beautiful backyard gardening daily. When he wasn’t in the garden, he was traveling. He loved snorkeling and searching for underwater marine life with his wife.
Don was very creative and loved problem solving. He loved a good challenge. He had a great love for animals also. Don had a younger brother, Dale Mallonee, a Vietnam hero, that he loved and was very proud of. No words can describe our loss. He was a blessing to everyone that knew him."*" indicates required fields
