    Ruth was born January 2, 1935 in Plauen, Germany to Hans and Hildegard Fritzsche. After the death of her father Ruth’s mother married Josef Guiss.

    In 1960 Ruth escaped East Germany and migrated to New York. She then moved to California where she met and married Leland Neil in 1971.

    She is survived by her brother Wolfgang Guiss, cousin Ingrid Jansen, stepdaughters Lesa Bradley, Jill Agnew, four grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and many loving family members.
